Ecolomondo uses its proprietary state-of-the-art Thermal Decomposition Process (“TDP”) to transform end-of-life tires into high-value marketable commodities.
Ecolomondo is currently selling high quality recovered products under branded names: Mondo Black, Mondo Light Oil, and Mondo Heavy Oil. TDP is highly efficient, safe, energy self-sufficient, fully automated and green.
TDP reduces Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions by approximately 90% if compared to the production of virgin materials. Each two reactors, similar in size to Hawkesbury, will reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 22,400 tons per year
Mondo Black
Potential buyers are rubber product manufacturers, tire manufacturers, pigment manufacturers, etc. Recovered Carbon Black is used in everything from rubber to pigment in paints and dyes.
Mondo Oil
Potential buyers would be major distributors, refiners and processors of oil-based products. Mondo Heavy can be used to produce ‘green’ virgin carbon black, as fuel, and Mondo Light is used in the manufacturing of solvents, as a diluting agent, fuel, etc. Oil is sold to be converted into various chemicals, lubricants and polymers.
Steel
Potential buyers for the steel are steel foundries, recyclers and mills. Mondo Steel is the most common form of steel scrap material.
